There's much to learn about the five senses, so I recommend that you take them one at a time. This week, let's concentrate on sight. Here are a few resources that might help:Topics to Study:

- Draw your own diagram of the eye or use my Eye Diagram Form or Eye Worksheet. Label the major parts: cornea, lens, sciera, pupil, iris, retina, optic nerve, rods, cones, eyelash, tear duct, vitreous
- Put together an Anatomical Eyeball Model

- Optical Illusions.
- Make a dinosaur flip book.
- You've Got Braille.
- Repetition in Art.
- Neuroscience for Kids.
- Buy a The Sunlight Print Kit or use construction paper (it fades pretty fast in the sun!).
- Play Pin the Tail on the Donkey.
- Dissect a cow's eye or watch a virtual cow's eye dissection.
- Compare an eye to a camera. How are they alike? Different?
- Write a book report on Louis Braille or Helen Keller. Use my Famous Person report form, if desired.
