Teaching the 50 States and Capitals

There are lots of fun ways to teach the 50 states and capitals! Here's a few of my favorites:

  3. There are lots of cool board games to play too. Mindware has just come out with Brainbox Around the USA. I have used their Around the World one with my class and it is a great hit. Borderline also has a USA version of their great card game.

  5. How can I find or buy as set of the fifty states and capitals mnemonic cards? I would love to own and share with teachers in the school district that I presently work at. I have remembered the majority of the states by those state and capital mnemonic cards. Please help me locate these cards. Are they out of date?? Apparently, the link on this page is not working or no longer exists.
